Euthanasia

A well‐placed shot to the head (Figure 8) from a high‐powered rifle will instantly kill pigs.

In a corral trap, shoot the largest pig first, if possible. When a trapping program is being conducted, all hunting in the area should cease, especially the use of dogs, as this may pressure the pigs to move to another area.
